SKIN CARE THERAPIST DURBAN - KZN, South Africa START: A.S.A.P / Mid-September 2024 TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS Monday – Sunday (Shifts rotate) 09:00 - 20:00 (8-hour shift applies) Days off Annual Leave REPORT TO: Spa Manager REMUNERATION & COMPANY BENEFITS R8,000 - R10,000 Basic per month (Based On Experience & Skills) Service Commission (target based) Retail Commission Gratuities & Incentives Excellent earning potential MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: South African citizen OR valid working permit for employment in SA (we do not offer permits) Matric / O-Level or similar high school senior certificate Confident English vocabulary (Read, Speak & Write) - we deal with international guests CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC / City & Guilds / BABTAC DIPLOMA Health & Skin Care / Beauty Therapy / Somatology / Cosmetology (2-year Diploma) Based in Durban EXPERIENCE: At least TWHO years post-graduation experience in a high-end salon OR spa (not including work integrated learning / experiential learning) Cruise ship employment highly beneficial ESSENTIAL SKILLS: Confident and skilled in all standard SPA, BEAUTY & SKIN CARE services including Advanced facials, Peels & Skin Rejuvenation Confident performing a detailed skin analysis Ability to effectively prescribe relevant home care to clients accordingly - RETAIL confident Confidently re-book clients where applicable Strong team dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision BONUS SKILLS (nice to have): Reflexology LASER Hair Removal LASER Skin Rejuvenation LED Therapy Collagen Induction Therapy / Micro needling / Derma Pen Nail Technology (acrylic / sculptures) Lash lift Brow Lamination Lash Extensions
