Skilled PET Processing Technician – Philippi, Cape Town – R35000 to R40 000



A company who specializes in the manufacture of packaging is looking for a PET Processor. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the smooth operation of our production equipment.

Your primary responsibilities will include identifying technical issues, conducting fault analysis, and implementing solutions to ensure optimal machine performance.

You'll collaborate closely with our Maintenance Manager & Production Manager to develop maintenance plans, set machine parameters, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.



Key Responsibilities:
Conduct technical assessments and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions independently. Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure machinery operates at peak efficiency. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address production challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain meticulous records of machine settings, maintenance activities, and spare parts inventory. Uphold stringent health and safety standards and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members. Adhere to quality principles and standards to uphold our commitment to excellence.


Qualifications:
Secondary Education: Grade 12 Tertiary Education: Bachelor's Degree / Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant setting experience Strong understanding of technical drawings and fault-finding techniques Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Passion for career growth in Packaging and PET Processing, with a focus on environmental sustainability
