We are seeking a Site Supervisor to join our team in East London on a contract basis.
Someone who comes from the recruitment industry will be considered.
Location: East London Requirements Relevant qualifications and certificates Driver's License and own vehicle 3 years of experience is required Key Responsibilities General Responsibilities Oversee daily site operations to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Serve as the primary point of contact between management, workers, and clients.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Site Management Assign tasks to workers and supervise progress.
Monitor and manage inventory of materials, tools, and equipment.
Conduct site inspections to assess work quality and adherence to plans.
Safety and Compliance Enforce safety protocols and address any hazards promptly.
Ensure all workers are trained in required safety procedures.
Conduct regular safety meetings and maintain documentation of compliance.
Coordination and Communication Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve issues.
Communicate updates, challenges, and project status to management and stakeholders.
Address and resolve on-site conflicts or challenges.
Documentation and Reporting Maintain detailed records of site activities, including daily logs and incident reports.
Prepare progress reports for management and clients.
Ensure proper documentation of completed work for future reference.
Leadership Provide guidance, support, and training to team members.
Motivate workers to maintain high-quality performance and meet deadlines.
Address worker grievances and escalate unresolved issues when necessary.
