Collaborates with other teams to ensure the infrastructure remains dependable, scalable, and equipped to meet the evolving requirements of the applications.Duties & ResponsibilitiesRequirements:3 - 5yrs + DevOps / Site Reliability / Platform Engineer or System Administration experience in software environment.Experience working with IaaS and public cloud platformsManaging and provisioning of infrastructure through code (IaaC)Solid experience with and knowledge of DockerExperience with VMware Cloud Services, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud PlatformSOLID experience with both or one of the following: HashiCorp and / or KubernetesInfrastructure-as-Code tools Terraform, Ansible – essentialCircleCI, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etcExperience using version control tools such as Git and GitHubStrong knowledge of security risks and mitigation thereofMySQL, Postgres database administrationStrong skills in the following:Network routing and core principlesSolid experience and good knowledge working with Linux containers and virtual machinesKnowledge of cloud platform environmentsExperience within software development environment including good understanding of software development principlesGood knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and automationSolid experience in Unix/Linux administrationExperience in Linux container orchestrationPackage & RemunerationR 35 000 - R 65 000 - Monthly
