Candidates should be self-starting and highly motivated, with the ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Primary duties will include:
Exceed or achieve site production and financial targets.
Assist with the adherence and implementation of policies, procedures, statutory law and safety regulations.
Implement a high SHEQ standard on the site to meet and exceed client satisfaction.
Assist with planning and programming of the project, by measuring and evaluating operational performance, processes and resources in order to enhance efficiencies/production.
Be effective in understanding & implementing problem solving decisions for the site.
Operational and production performance.
Drive projects to completion.
Minimum Requirements
BSc, BEng or BTech in Civil or Construction Management
Driver's license and own reliable vehicle
Must be registered with SACPCMP
At least 5 years' experience in Civil Engineering projects
Knowledge
Knowledge of construction processes and trades
Ability to read and interpret drawings
Setting out and levelling
Knowledge of materials, plant and equipment
Knowledge of site administration systems
Co-ordination of construction teams
Staff management and labour legislation
Safety requirements and safety and health legislation
Financial control including costing
Leadership and business acumen qualities
