Site Engineer/ Civil Engineer

Requirements

Bachelors degree in civil engineering from an accredited university or college.
4-5 years of experience as a site engineer, civil engineer, or an equivalent role.
Demonstrated proficiency in managing and supervising construction projects.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other software.
Ability to manage multiple construction projects at various stages.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Competent in assessing, interpreting, and presenting survey reports and critical data.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with effective communication.
Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Attention to detail and focus on delivering high-quality results.

Job Duties

Site Management

Oversee and manage construction activities at the site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, codes, and safety regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors for timely project completion.


Technical

Analyze and interpret engineering drawings, survey reports, and other technical documentation.
Report project updates, milestones, and risks to key stakeholders.
Provide technical guidance to resolve construction-related challenges.


Cost Control

Plan and allocate resources, materials, and equipment for project efficiency.
Monitor project costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and adhere to budget constraints.


Reporting & Documentation

Interpret engineering plans, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Maintain accurate project documentation, progress reports, and quality control measures.


Supervisory Duties

Maintain active involvement by visiting sites and interacting with contract managers.
Ensure staff meet deadlines and maintain discipline in duties, punctuality, and communications.


Other Duties

Coordinate procurement and delivery of construction materials.
Identify potential risks and implement preventive measures to minimize project delays and hazards.
