PRIMARY POSITION PURPOSE Provide supporting services and prepare documentation for projects as well as provide other appropriate technical support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES General: Identify areas for improvement within projects and processesStay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to management servicesMaintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to security protocols in handling data, records, and systemsDocument projects within guidelines set by supervisorProduce high quality drawings and documentationAttend technical discussions and project delivery meetingsInteract with project team and external consultantsPrepare payment certificates and budget forecastsAbility to resolve conflicts on site, or between external consultants, making sure to not aggravate any arising issues and solve conflicts in an ethical mannerData-collection/ Design-Based Activities: Assist with data collection, organization, and analysis for project reports and presentationsMinor design of aspects pertaining to Civil EngineeringAssist with tender documentationSite-Based Activities: Survey road and ground data and quality control of setting out worksConduct site inspections on a regular basis and write daily site report as applicableContinuous monitoring of work on site and enforcement of standards/specificationsKEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS Capability and desire to learnUnderstand the importance and ensure that appropriate technical standards, drawing standards, application of software tools and quality procedures are maintained on all projectsComplete quality documentation within a required timeframeProficiency in basic design packages such as QGIS and Auto CAD Civil 3DProficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook), database management systems, and data entry software.RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE A N.
