Job posting end date: 11/28/2024 JOB TITLE: SITE ACCOUNT MANAGER – RUSTENBURG, NORTH-WEST We are seeking a Site Account Manager to join our Sales Team.
The successful candidate will build and maintain active long-term relationship with key decision makers at customer site level and continuously promote Metso's value adding offering.
They will also create a healthy business environment with high customer satisfaction with the site accounts.
In this position, you will report to the Sales Manager – Southern Africa Central.
This position is mainly located in Rustenburg – Northwest, and serving parts Gauteng TEAM YOU BELONG TO You will join the Sales Team and work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as Mining Customers, Engineering and Drawing Office, Complex Proposals Commercial Team, Project Execution Team, Key Account Managers, Business Development Manager, Product Lines and Product Support.
WHAT YOU WILL DO Responsible to deliver improved customer satisfaction levels by providing process support on customer sites Support customers with areas of improvement and optimizations on their plants Responsibility to create the relationship with the key people at the site and share leads with the organization, connecting key interfaces Walk customer plants and generate leads to take forward Focuses on after-market business yet is able to identify the investment/capex opportunities and is responsible to convey the customer requirement to capex sales Plans and has full visibility to the activities of any Metso function at the site Seeks and coordinates for best resources and channels to be used for customer facing activities Understands customer business and is capable to argue Metso's added value Drives site sales activities together with cross organizational site account team and understands customer's capex and Opex related decisions and buying timetable Drives account planning and implementation (strategy, relationship, site level budgeting, activity plan, sales roadmap and plan) Maintains and shares information of installed base, performance and shutdown schedules and plan Orchestrates Customer satisfaction surveys and closed loop activities and ensures continuous improvement activities Supports Accounts Receivable and payment collections Active member of the MA Key Account/Global Key Account team I/A WHO YOU ARE Matric (Grade 12) Bachelors' Degree, BTech – Chemical / Process Engineering or Marketing will be advantageous Minimum 5 years' experience working in the mining industry Sales or Account Management skills will be advantageous Experience working in a customer-focused and fast-paced professional environment Computer literate in Sales Force, Microsoft Excel, Word, Power BI and PowerPoint Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust Strong communication skills and a serving leader WHAT SKILLS, COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS (HARD AND SOFT) ARE ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE?
Customer-centric mindset, able to translate customer issues/needs into profitable business solutions Good interpersonal, communication, presentation & facilitation skills Highly motivated individual with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Team player High attention to detail and accuracy Strong written and verbal communications skills are critical Prepared to work flexible work hours to meet deadlines when required Travelling into Africa if required.
