Short Term Pricing Actuarial Analyst

Key Responsibilities: Pricing & Product Development: Contribute to the pricing and development of short-term insurance products by analyzing claims data, market dynamics, and customer patterns.
Data Analysis & Modeling: Create, refine, and manage pricing models to predict risks and optimize premiums across different customer groups.
Performance Monitoring: Evaluate and report on pricing performance, including loss ratios and key metrics, recommending adjustments to maintain profitability.
Team Collaboration: Partner with underwriting, sales, and product teams to ensure pricing strategies align with broader business goals.
Regulatory Compliance: Maintain adherence to regulatory standards and ensure all pricing processes are well-documented.
Requirements: Educational Background: Bachelors Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
Actuarial Progress: Completion of 8 or more actuarial exams.
Technical Expertise: Skilled in actuarial modeling software, Excel, SQL, and programming tools like Python or R. Analytical Strength: Exceptional problem-solving abilities with great attention to detail.
Industry Insight: Knowledge of short-term insurance products, market trends, and associated risk factors.
Communication Skills: Proficient in translating complex analyses into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
