As a Senior Account Executive in our Retail International team, your role is pivotal in guiding high growth and complex merchants on how to accelerate their business growth through demonstrating how to best leverage the Shopify retail platform and ecosystem.
The Retail Sales team works with exciting and growing merchants across EMEA, consulting with merchants on both their online and offline strategy in order to optimize their omnichannel commerce needs.

Senior Account Executive IT (Based in UKI) This is a remote position, based in the UK or Ireland or in market; Italian proficiency is required. This team is regionally-focused on EMEA, requiring occasional travel for on-site partner visits.
Key Requirements Proficiency in English; native or bilingual level of proficiency in Italian, German or FrenchExperience in a full cycle sales role, with a strong track record of successfully exceeding sales targetsDemonstrated passion for hunting and acquiring new business and/or managing existing accounts, with a proven ability to identify and close high-value opportunitiesExtensive experience in negotiating complex deals, with a focus on achieving win-win outcomesConsultative and solutions-oriented mindset, with an ability to challenge assumptions and comfortably speak about various product offeringsExtensive experience with outbound prospecting, cultivating a territory, and building a robust pipelineComfort level with getting deep into technical product knowledge and becoming a Shopify product expertAbility to create multi-product pipeline generation strategies driven by sales, marketing, partnerships, events, etc.Additional informationAt Shopify, we are committed to building and fostering an environment where our employees feel included, valued, and heard.
