Shift Setter - Port Elizabeth

Reporting to the Production Manager in Port Elizabeth, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following outputs:Assisting in achieving a production efficiency of 85%Assisting in ensuring that raw material wastage levels are maintained below 1.4% of material usedSetting machines according to the best practicesConducting mould and material trials as requiredReporting and assisting with machine and mould maintenance requirementsEnsuring that machinery and moulds are effectively maintained, serviced and storedEnsuring top quality products are producedPracticing a high standard of housekeeping and safetyAssisting with some fabricating in the factory as neededTo be considered for this position applicants must meet the following criteria: N3 (mechanical, electrical or Instrumentation) or higher N qualification essential (trade not required)Preference will be for FMCG or Mechanical/Electrical experienceAt least 2 years work experience in a technical or maintenance role essentialMust be able to work shifts and own transport is essentialExtrusion Blow Moulding experience and experience with Uniloy machines essential
