Shift Setter - East London

Reporting to the Production Manager of the relevant Department, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following outputs:Assisting in achieving a production efficiency of 85% - 90%Assisting in ensuring that raw material wastage levels are maintained below 1.4% of material usedSetting machines according to the best practicesConducting mould and material trails as requiredReporting and assisting with machine and mould maintenance requirementsEnsuring that machinery and moulds are effectively maintained, serviced and storedEnsuring top quality products are producedPracticing a high standard of housekeeping and safetyAny other duties reasonably requested by supervisor or otherPrepared to work overtime when requiredTo be considered for this position applicants must meet the following criteria: Matric or N2 certificate is essentialN3 or higher would be advantageousMechanical aptitudeAt least 3 years work experience in production and/or manufacturingBeing exposed to blow moulding is advantageousSetting and/or Mechanical experience is advantageousMust be able to work shifts and have their own transport
