Shift Millwright

POSITION: SHIFT MILLWRIGHTS The Shift Millwright is responsible to provide maintenance support to Production, Electrical/C&I and maintenance teams in the relevant areas.
Breakdowns and inspections are performed on a 24 hrs basis to ensure maximum plant availability and efficiency.
 JOB SPECIFICATION Experience in a heavy industry will be beneficial.Must have sound knowledge of planned maintenance principlesKnowledge of maintenance & repairs on pumps, hydraulic, pneumatic and grease systemsKnowledge of chain drives, drive shafts, fans, gearboxes and conveyor belt systemsKnowledge required of maintenance on electrical motors as well as overhead cranes.
Suitable candidate must be Computer literate  PERSON SPECIFICATIONMatric or N3 with Mathematics and ScienceMust have a relevant trade test as a Millwright3-5 years of plant experience as a qualified millwright.Motivated self-starter with the ability to think analytically Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, Maintain standards in the plant and adhere to all safety rules and proceduresPhysically fit, not afraid of heights or confined spacesFlexible and willing to work overtime when requiredMust be in possession of a valid driver's license Remuneration:R480k to R550k plus annual bonus .
