Shift Leader Queenstown

Are you an experienced hospitality professional looking for a dynamic and rewarding role? We're looking to appoint Shift Leaders, so if you have extensive five-star hotel skills and experience and a passion for delivering great service hotel-wide, we want to hear from you!
This role provides support and assists the supervisory team to complete all tasks during the shift, ensuring that processes and procedures are followed. You'll have a primary department assigned but can expect to be working across multiple areas of the hotel as guest requirements demand.
Key Responsibilities: Ensuring rooms and public areas are maintained to our established standards.Being responsible for the cleaning of food preparation and service handling areas, with an emphasis on impeccable hygiene practices.Assisting with breakfast, dinner, and bar services in our food and beverage outlets, ensuring guests receive a truly memorable experience.Handling guest check-ins and check-outs, processing reservations, and providing exemplary guest service.Operating guest shuttle and driving company vehicles.Training team members in operational tasks, monitoring quality and standards.Assisting with stocktake and ordering.Actively involved with procedures and SOP updates.Assisting the maintenance team with detail cleaning and project work across the hotel.Skills and Experience: Minimum of three years of relevant experience in at least one of the following areas: Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, or Front Office, with at least two years of this experience in a five-star hotel.Comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations across at least two departments, including housekeeping and kitchen service, food and beverage, and front office.Proven training abilities, with a track record of developing and supporting team members.Strong process knowledge and the ability to implement and maintain high standards.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and staff.Full driver licence desirable, with P endorsement beneficial.High level of initiative, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.Why Join Us?
