Ensure all BWE employees in area of responsibility fully understand the requirements of existing health and safety legislationEnsure a safe and healthy work environment that complies with health and safety legislationReport and facilitate investigation of all work-related incidents and vehicle road accidentsProvide SHE awareness training, toolbox talks and induction on site to staff, contractors, and other relevant parties Keep SHE registers up to date, including renewals of permits and licensesAudit relevant BWE sites and prepare the MARSH Stars reportMaintain/Control Contamination standards for area of responsibilityConduct regular on-site appraisals of premises and housekeeping, electrical, mechanical and personal safeguards, fire protection and security standards; Conduct risk assessmentsPrepare and deliver safety files as per client's requirements Verify contractor SHE files compliance
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
Grade 12 Driver's licence – Code BSound knowledge of health and safety legislationSAMTRAC or equivalent certificationSHE Internal Auditor trainingComputer literate (Sound knowledge of MS office)Analytical abilityJudgement and decision-makingEffective verbal and written communication skillsAssertivenessInvestigative orientation (probing / information seeking)
