Nelspruit Area – Mpumalanga: Our client is looking for a SHE Supervisor to join the team.
Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Grade 12National diploma in safety management/ Risk management/SAMTRAC or relevant qualification and experience will be advantageous.Experience in the Citrus/Agriculture/Food processing industry will be advantageousCOMPETENCIES & SKILLS REQUIRED Able to lead and drive a safety culture.Strong communication and interpersonal skillsEffective handling of detailed information and consistent attention to detailAbility to work with little supervision and track multi processes.Team player and able to work under pressureKEY ACCOUNTABILITY AREAS Health and Safety Ensure all incidents and accidents are reported and correct documentation completed.Ensure all identified risks are mitigated and managed as far as possible to avoid any hazards. Assist with drafting risk assessments, procedures, and work instructions.Ensure all H&S lawful requirements are met and adhered toConduct emergency drills and action when needed.Drive the reporting of near misses and incidences.Conduct Health and safety audits and inspections.Communication of Corrective action reports for areas of non-conformancesOnly short-listed candidates will be contacted.
