She Officer - Mining

Hire Resolve's client, a leading mining company in the Eastern Cape is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SHE Officer.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in promoting a culture of safety and environmental stewardship within the organization.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain SHE policies, protocols, and standards across mining operations.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with SHE regulations and practices.
Identify health and safety hazards and conduct risk assessments to mitigate potential risks.
Facilitate employee training and awareness programs on SHE matters.
Lead incident investigations, compile reports, and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with legislation in terms of Health, Safety, and Environmental matters.
Monitor environmental impact and advocate for sustainability initiatives.
Prepare and maintain SHE documentation and reporting.
Requirements Grade 12 Degree/Diploma in Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or a related field.
5 years' experience as a SHE Officer in the mining sector.
In-depth knowledge of mine health and safety regulations.
Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
Valid driver's license.
