Job Description: Finance Strategy Support the GFM to execute the finance strategy ensuring operational alignment with established plans and policies. Manage and support their teams ensuring that they remain consistent with the business's overall strategy. Mentor key personnel in their business area, ensuring their constant professional growth, and assisting them in the execution of their duties where necessary. People and Team Management People and team management of direct reports. Managing resource capacity and cross-skill growth opportunities. Developing and growing people, focusing on the team's core strengths and skills. Building and maintaining a healthy talent pool for this business unit. Client and Perception Management Responsible for monitoring the client (Internal and External) needs on an ongoing basis, maintaining high client satisfaction ratings that are up to the business's standards. Reporting and Information Management Ensuring data and information is maintained and accurate for all the business units and its functions. Monitor volumes and strategic objective targets for the assigned business function. Maintain data and information relevant to service and operations for the purpose of conducting analyses that influence service specific decision making. Manage creditors process to completion for month ends. Treasury Daily/Weekly/Monthly Payment management. Forex trading. Cashbook approval of month end recons. Petty Cash management. Credit Card Review / Back – Up on Processing. Review and manage VAT and Tax Submissions. Handling/follow up on queries on all aspects of responsibility level. Debtor or other Financing compliances management. Handling of bi-monthly audits with Financial Service Provider. Any ad hoc tasks. Manage Financial Reporting Assist in annual budget process for the responsible entity. Draft Weekly cashflow forecast report and submit to GFM and CFO. Financial Compliance Understand and comply with IFRS for SME's. Understand and comply with credit insurance and financing agreements. Identifying opportunities by evaluating current business trends, best practice research and principles. Working closely with all business units to enhance and promote positive feedback loops and improvements (Check client performance versus forecast). Systems and Processes Adopt new technology where suggested (Paperless environment). Continuous review system and suggest improvements to GFM. Qualifications: Grade 12/Matric with Mathematics and accounting as subjects. Relevant tertiary education (BCom Honors). Completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles (Advantageous). 3-5 years post article experience. Previous logistics industry experience will be advantageous. How to Apply: Email your comprehensive CV to ******.
