Shaft Supervisor (Engineering)

Details of the offer

Duties and Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all Shaft and related standards, regulations, and instructions, relevant Codes of Practice, etc., and initiating remedial actions or escalating as required.

Oversee and perform required equipment and installation risk assessments, lockout/tagout and related activities in area of accountability. Schedule, assign and monitor team daily maintenance and routine activities to ensure safe work delivery, delivery to standards and conduct regular Planned Task Observations (PTOs) to ensure team effectiveness and coaching to improve overall delivery. Schedule and conduct Shaft examinations in terms of the Mines Code of Practice. Plan, coordinate and oversee the preparation and safe execution of all shaft rigging and slinging tasks.
