Job Title: Shaft EngineerLocation: Mpumalanga, South AfricaHire Resolve's Client are currently seeking a Shaft Engineer with experience in the mining industry to join their team in Mpumalanga. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of shafts used in mining operations, ensuring they meet safety, efficiency, and production targets.Responsibilities:Conducting surveys and assessments to determine the feasibility of new shaft projectsDeveloping detailed designs and plans for new shaft constructionsOverseeing the construction and commissioning of shafts, ensuring they are completed on time and within budgetMonitoring and optimizing shaft performance to achieve production targetsImplementing and maintaining safety protocols and ensuring compliance with relevant regulationsLiaising with stakeholders, including mine managers, contractors, and regulatory bodiesTroubleshooting and resolving any technical issues related to shaft operationsImplementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance shaft efficiency and productivityRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in shaft engineering within the mining industryGood knowledge of mining regulations and safety standardsStrong technical skills in designing and constructing shaftsExcellent project management and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to travel to mine sites as requiredBenefits:Salary: (URL Removed) - (URL Removed) client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.We will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
