Setter

Requirement: Ensure production equipment is in good operating condition and well maintained.
Ensure correct setting of machines.
Complete fault analysis in case of malfunction or rejects.
Responsibilities: Identify, report and rectify all technical areas of concern on assigned production equipment (machines, moulds, etc.
)Have and in-depth understanding of: Products and their quality criteria.
Process (material feeding and drying, injection moulding, reheat stretch, blow moulding and injection blow moulding)General knowledge of all equipment, including details for assigned equipment.
Mould installation.
Technical principles and drawings (e.g.
assemblies and spare part finding, pneumatic, hydraulic, electric) Fault analysis and problem solving.
Independently do fault analysis and problem-solving in case of (teamwork as needed)Product quality issues.
Mould issues.
Machine malfunction (mechanic, hydraulic/pneumatic/electric)Recognise and report problems to the Maintenance Manager and Production Manager on other than the assigned equipment.
Salary: R400 000 CTC
