Description: Course number and title: HMB342H1S - Epidemiology in Health and Disease - co-teaching
Course description: This course engages students in the fundamental science of epidemiology applied to health and disease. After an introduction to various measures of health and disease, the scientific methods used to investigate, analyze, prevent and control health problems will be illustrated using social, biomedical and public health examples.
Estimated TA support: 250 (to be confirmed)
Class schedule: Lectures on Tuesdays 9:00am - 11:00am (online synchronous)
Sessional dates of appointment: January 1, 2025 - April 30, 2025
Salary (0.25FCE): All inclusive of vacation pay;

Minimum Qualifications: Candidates should have a completed Ph.D. (or equivalent) with a scholarly background and recent experience in areas related to the course and recent experience in undergraduate teaching.
