What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…Perform service/repair on rotational equipment and multi-brand compressors; both oil injected and oil free.Ability to interpret and understand PID, drawings, manuals etc related to all types of compressors, turbines and blowers.Navigate multi-brand compressor controllers to obtain data to assist in troubleshooting.Install new equipment (Construction Job Sites, and Retrofits).Conduct statutory and insurance examinations on rotational equipment.Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.Produce timely and detailed service reports.Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations.Managing of service contracts on customer sites.Laser alignment of equipment.Commissioning of plant.Support workshop associates when required.Your Education Should Be…Trade test certificate in Fitting or National Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…Must be medically fit to perform duties.Must be familiar with job site safety requirements.Your Professional Experience Should Be…A minimum of 6 years related experience in the rotating equipment field.High level of analytical ability is required in order to find solutions to technical problems both mechanical and electrical.Proficiency in problem solving, process analysis and capacity to troubleshoot.Read and comprehend written technical information in the form of technical manuals, drawings, parts books, and relevant publications is essential.Computer skill set along with strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.A firm commitment to customer service excellence in all circumstances.Basic technical knowledge of Rotating Equipment, Reciprocating Compressors, Gas Compressor Engines & Turbines, Roots and centrifugal blowers.
