Service Technician

As a Service Technician in our Maintenance Department, you are essential in maintaining the performance and extending the lifespan of our clients' solar thermal systems, HVAC systems, and related equipment. Your key duties include responding to service requests, diagnosing problems, and performing maintenance tasks with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.Skills & Experience: Respond quickly to service calls, identify problems, and fix them accuratelyPerform thorough inspections and regular maintenance of solar and HVAC systems on-siteCarry out repairs, replacements, and system upgrades using proper methodsFollow maintenance schedules to keep equipment running smoothly for a long timeHelp customers understand how their systems work and provide advice on maintenanceMake sure all work meets safety rules and company quality standardsHelp out with installation projects when neededSkilled at diagnosing and solving complex problems quicklyStrong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and colleaguesQualification:National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a similar qualificationTechnical certification in solar thermal or HVAC systems is a plusProven experience as a Service Technician in solar thermal or HVAC maintenanceValid driver's licenseIn-depth technical knowledge of solar thermal systems, HVAC technologies, and related equipmentFamiliarity with hydraulic systems, plumbing, and electrical setups used in hot water and heating/cooling systemsAble to work both independently and as part of a teamContact SHAWN VELDTMAN on
