Business Unit: Discovery Central ServicesFunction: Call Center / Contact CenterDate: 12 Dec 2024Job Title: Service ConsultantKey Purpose:Our Commissions department is looking for a great person to join their team as a service consultant to service broker houses and franchises with all related billing and commissions' queries.Areas of Responsibility:Answering inbound calls timeouslyDealing with predominantly telephonic and occasionally email queriesAssisting franchises/brokers with Health, Life and Group Life and Vitality queriesSubmitting reports to brokersReviewing and recommending improvements to existing processesImplementing and maintaining internal controls to ensure best practicesPerforming any other related functions requested by managementNB: The role is not limited to the key outputs mentioned above.Personal Attributes and Skills:Perform a variety of administrative responsibilitiesAbility to multi-task with attention to detailEnsure that delegated tasks are performed within proper time framesPrioritise workload and address immediate issues as they ariseEffective communication at all levels within the organisation (written and telephonic)Client-centric servicing and positive problem-solving approachExcellent time managementDeadline conscious and able to work under pressureWork independently, but open to teamwork when necessaryTakes responsibility for actions and projectsUpholds ethics, values and demonstrates integrityAdapts to changing circumstances, new ideas and change initiativesEducation and Experience:Essential:Matric Certificate1 year Call centre experience within the financial services industryAdvantageous:1 year Call centre experience dealing with brokers1 year experience with Discovery Life productsPost-graduate degree or equivalentEMPLOYMENT EQUITY:The Company's approved Employment Equity Plan and Targets will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
