MAIN PURPOSE OF JOBTo address MHR clients' staffing requests and placements and to provide guidance and direction to MHR Service Centre Coordinators. To monitor Service Centre Coordinator's performance to ensure excellent client service is provided.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREASSupervise a team of MHR Service Centre Coordinators during shiftsAddress client staffing requests and coordinate placements/cancellations of MHR Panel MembersREQUIRED EDUCATIONESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Grade 12
DESIRED EDUCATION: None
REQUIRED EXPERIENCEESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 6 months experience in leading a team
DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 3 months service centre team leader experience
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEBasic understanding of the scope of practice of healthcare workersDemonstrate a good understanding of relevant legislation (i.e. Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), Labour Relations Act (LRA), etc.) and the ability to apply this in the workplaceProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn new systemsThe ability to manage a small team to achieve departmental goalsExceptional client service skills and sound client service experience. The ability to effectively deal with demanding clientsExcellent communication, feedback, and follow-up skills (English written and verbal skills)Organisational skillsHigh standards of excellence and attention to detailAll applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given in accordance with the Employment Equity Plan of Mediclinic Southern Africa, as well as internal applicants/employees that meet the minimum requirements.
