Full job description
A Franchise giant in the Automotive Industry is looking for a qualified and professional Service Advisor to join the team.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Share Dekra paperwork for vehicles with Dekra / Services – Make sure drivers are on route.
Assist calling for quotes / Washbay
Start going through recon per vehicle – Keep lists updated at all times (Keep one page per vehicle in physical book with all information regarding that vehicle with dates as and when decisions are taken)
Go through recon with Workshop Manager and Dealer Principal / Get quotes signed off
Put all quotes on WhatsApp group for approval
Once a vehicle has arrived, Workshop Manager to sign if off
Inspect vehicles on arrival:
books / service history / keys / spare wheel / tools (vehicle pack)
Post photos of vehicle on the WhatsApp group
Note all repairs to be done on the vehicle. Exterior and Interior, including all parts that are required on Inspection Sheet
Inspect vehicle for faults an diagnose potential problems.
Report all faults and finding on CST WhatsApp group
Check Quality Control (QC) upon completion of work before Workshop Manager checks to sign off, before handing vehicle over to sales on the dealership floor or a vehicle to a customer.
Ensure that the correct labour and parts are being recorded.
Ensure that the quality of information on each vehicle pack / job card is accurate and complete before handing off to management.
Make sure all signed documentation is given to Finance for the vehicle file and that payments are submitted on time.
Ensure that all orders are placed for parts timeously.
Double check with Workshop Manager and Dealer Principal which vehicles are of highest priority to ensure that these are attended to first on a daily basis.
Reconciliation of the workshop card / Keeping track of all payments
Running VIN numbers when cars come in.
Follow up on all cars daily that are off premises.
Update Google recon sheet to ensure that all information is live and updated at all times.
Populating time sheets for the mechanics and ensuring these are captured on the Google Sheet.
Qualifications Required:
2 – 3 Years in Automotive Workshop Environment / Customer Service
Knowledge of the automotive industry.
Strong relationships with external suppliers
Skills:
Excellent attention to detail
Working as part of a team and ensuring communication channels are updated throughout the day.
Able to communicate with all levels of the organization
Experience:
2 – 3 years in Automotive Workshop / Customer Service industry
Other requirements:
Driver's License
