It is the responsibility of the Active Directory Engineer to work collaboratively with Group's business unit stakeholders, Service Line Managers, and other service providers to ensure a secure and stable Active Directory environment.
The Active Directory Engineer will spend significant periods, during Business Hours, at Client's offices and will be on standby to aid outside of Business Hours if reasonably required to do so by the Client. The Active Directory Engineer will be contactable by telephone outside of Business Hours.
Technical Responsibilities:
Act as the L4 Active Directory Engineer responsible for all Microsoft Active Directory systems on the Sanlam Contract, inclusive of all Microsoft integrated systems: Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Lightweight Directory Services (LDAP), Rights Management Services (RMS), Domain Naming Services (DNS), Dynamic Host Control Protocol (DHCP), Group Policy Management (GPO), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Azure AD sync and Microsoft Azure AD.
Oversee daily operations and service quality relating to the ongoing support of Microsoft Active Directory services.
Extensive technical know-how of Active Directory and all other related services.
Reviewing system changes for security implications and recommending improvements.
Excellent hands-on experience and knowledge implementing, configuring, integrating, and supporting the Active Directory environment and all related ecosystems.
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12
Diploma in IT
Minimum two years' experience and knowledge of Active Directory and strong server and workstation troubleshooting experience is an added advantage.
MCSE – must be up to date and still active.
