Server Engineer

Position: Server EngineerLocation: Cape TownResponsibilities:Manage and Maintain Cloud Infrastructure: Oversee and maintain our infrastructure in both Microsoft Azure and AWS.Microsoft Operating Systems Management: Ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of Microsoft Operating Systems within our network.Configure and Maintain Monitoring Solutions: Set up and maintain monitoring solutions to keep our systems running smoothly.Remediate Security Vulnerabilities and Manage Updates: Address security vulnerabilities and handle scheduled updates to keep our systems secure.Document Failovers and Procedures: Document procedures and failovers to ensure preparedness for any contingencies.Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors to ensure efficient procurement and maintenance of necessary technologies.Requirements:Microsoft Stack Expertise: Demonstrated expertise with the Microsoft technology stack.AWS Stack Proficiency: Intermediate-level proficiency with AWS cloud services.Knowledge of Hypervisor Environments: Familiarity with hypervisor environments.Programming Skills: Adept at one or more programming languages.Effective Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience:Windows Operating Systems: 8+ years of hands-on experience.Cloud Platforms: 2+ years of experience working with cloud platforms.Qualifications:Information Systems Certification/Degree: Essential.Microsoft Windows Server Certification: Essential.AWS Certification: Essential.What We Offer:A collaborative and innovative work environment.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Exposure to state-of-the-art cloud technologies.How to Apply:
