The Server and Cyber Security Manager is accountable for all server infrastructure, Data Centers and cyber security (both Information Technology IT and Operational Technology OT) across the organisation.
Manager is responsible to deliver agreed uptime, database services, backup, recovery, Data Centre (including managing Cloud providers) in addition to cyber security responsibilities.
Responsibilities Manage server infrastructure Manage all server infrastructure including iSeries and standard servers to industry standardsProvide 24 x 7 x 365 support on iSeries, standard server infrastructure and invoice printers to support continuous business operations (Supply Chain, Production, Logistics)Manage all Data Centres (both Client owned and hosted with 3rd parties)Ensure 99% infrastructure uptimeProvide server support for warehouse management infrastructureEnsure server infrastructure goals are aligned to business goalsEnsure accurate server asset managementDrive server business continuityDefine policies and procedures to optimize server infrastructureManage all Data Centres (both Client owned and hosted with 3rd parties)Drive Optimisation on Strategic Projects Support CIO to plan and execute the IT strategy in support of clients business strategyImprove user self-service to reduce call load to the IT Service DeskReduce long term costsDrive cost efficiencies in all contractsMaintain internal service delivery Identify global Cloud trends in Platform as a Service PaaS and Infrastructure as a Service IaaS that are applicable to client and drive adoption of theseCultivate relationships with IT service providers to broaden the supplier poolEnsure server, backup, restore and Data Centre services meet SLAParticipate in and lead (where required) RFIs and RFPs related to IT solutionsPro-actively eliminate technical debt through constant upgrades of technologyProvide database administration servicesEnsure optimal security and protection is afforded to the server infrastructureLead project management Plan, motivate for and manage the capex and opex budgets with a focus on cost efficiency and return on investmentDeliver projects on time, scope, budget and to user satisfactionPro-actively eliminate technical debt through constant upgrades of technologyEnsure projects are managed within budgetDeliver business cases to executive management for IT operations projects and solutionsManage Team efficiencies and collaboration Create a culture of high performance, supportive team dynamics within IT to deliver superb customer service to clients businessEstablish, communicate, manage and enforce appropriate IT operational best practices through policies and standard operating proceduresImprove team skill levels and eliminate key person dependenciesRequirements DegreeRelevant experience in applying job related concepts, techniques and processes at the required levelExperience in working with senior managementPeople management experienceCreating and managing capex and opex budgetsVendor management
