Responsibilities:
Visual Merchandising: Design and implement attractive visual displays in windows, stores, and other retail spaces to draw customers and promote products.
Brand Image Consistency: Ensure all visual elements align with the brand's identity and marketing strategies.
Store Layout and Design: Optimize store layouts to maximize space, improve customer flow, and enhance accessibility.
Seasonal Displays and Themes: Create displays that reflect seasonal trends and promote new collections.
Collaboration: Work closely with store managers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to plan and execute visual strategies.
Training: Train the Field Visual Team and in-store Visual Merchandisers on visual merchandising standards and techniques.
Monitoring and Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain displays to keep them fresh and engaging.
Budget Management: Oversee the budget for visual merchandising materials and props.
Trend Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends to keep displays innovative and appealing.
Qualifications and Experience:
Diploma or degree in Visual Merchandising, Retail Management, Fashion Design, or related fields advantageous.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar retail role, ideally in fashion.
Technical skills in visual merchandising software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).
Familiarity with South African fashion and market trends.
Fluency in English; additional South African languages are advantageous.
