An international and exciting digital marketing agency are on the hunt for a seasoned UX Designer to join their ever expanding team of designers in Cape Town.
Somerset West | Onsite | R35k - R40k pm Role Description: This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior User Experience Designer located in Somerset West.
The Senior UX Designer will be responsible for leading day-to-day activities involved in designing digital products that deliver effortless user experiences.
This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user-centered designs that meet business and user needs.
Responsibilities: ? Lead the end-to-end UX design process for mobile applications, from ideation to execution, ensuring alignment with project goals and user requirements.
? Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to gather insights and inform design decisions.
? Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups communicating design concepts and user interactions.
? Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into innovative, user-friendly design solutions.
? Establish and maintain design systems, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability across all WebWiser.io applications.
? Iterate designs based on feedback, user testing results, and emerging industry trends to continuously improve the user experience.
? Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of design excellence within the organization.
? Stay updated on emerging technologies, design tools, and industry trends to enhance design processes and stay ahead of the curve.
Qualifications: ? Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
Master's degree preferred.
? 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, focusing on mobile applications.
? Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of mobile app design projects and proven track record of delivering high-quality user experiences.
? Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, and Adobe CC.
? Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
? Experience working in an agile development environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
? Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
? Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
? Familiarity with accessibility standards and guidelines is a plus.
? Previous experience in the South African market or Africa region is advantageous.
