Candidate Requirements: Matric certificate with mathematics (minimum standard grade or above) Tertiary certificate in Travel & Tourism/ Hospitality Must have 4-5 years experience in a senior level Should have experience in handling customer relationships and developing and promoting product and services in the inbound travel industry Must be computer literate and working knowledge of TourPlan and WISH or similar Must have excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) Should have general product knowledge on Southern & East Africa Personal or educational travel experience is highly advantageous Must have excellent attention to detail Proficiency in a foreign language is advantageous Must be an excellent team player who is service and result oriented Must have precise organizational skills Should have the ability to work under pressure and prioritise demands Must be a self-starter with good administration skills Should have a passion for wildlife and a commitment to sustainability and conservation Responsibilities: Plan and execute educational itineraries to enhance product knowledge for Travel Designers and Owned Agencies. Coordinate with the Associated Product Department and third-party suppliers to build and enhance travel itineraries. Manage bookings, including car rentals, flights, and necessary documentation Liaise with regions for authorization on rates and permissions, ensuring compliance with yield rules and company policies. Raise invoices, allocate correct codes, and handle financial queries promptly, ensuring timely payment processing. Design and quote itineraries based on company guidelines, understanding guest needs, and following up on outstanding quotes. Maintain updated booking information, upload relevant documents, and ensure accuracy in all booking files and systems. Collaborate with Management and Operations, including handing over bookings and confirming services with relevant teams.
