We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Therapist/Spa Manager to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure that clients receive an exceptional experience. This role requires a leader who is skilled in a range of therapeutic and spa treatments and has a keen sense of business management. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of hands-on therapeutic skills and strategic management expertise to ensure the spa runs efficiently and achieves its business goals.
Candidates must be qualified in either massage therapy or health and beauty therapy with certification, experience and contactable references.
Responsibilities:
Performing spa treatments (body, waxing, skincare, massage, and nails) in accordance with spa treatment protocols on men and women.
Maximizing revenue, generating opportunities, whilst enhancing the guest service experience, through upselling, in accordance with outlet service journey.
Setting up, maintaining, and replenishing treatment rooms throughout shift, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Assist when needed on the reception desk, making appointments, closing of sales and spa cash up.
Salary: The position offers a basic salary with commission on all retail sales and services rendered. Salary will be discussed in the interview.
Hours of Work:
Monday and Tuesday: 9 am – 6 pm
Wednesday to Friday: 9 am – 7 pm (early or late shift)
Saturday: 9 am – 5 pm
Sunday trading hours to be confirmed based on season and operations.
Incentives & Commission: Rates to be communicated in a separate schedule.
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent.
Somatology (CIDESCO, SAAHSP, and/or ITEC advantageous).
Spa Management Diploma.
Business Management/Administration Diploma advantageous.
Minimum 7 years in the Spa/beauty industry.
Minimum 3 years' managerial experience.
Computer literate - Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel.

Provide training on customer service techniques, treatment protocols, and operational procedures.
Implement compliance and safety protocols.
Oversee facility maintenance.
