Requirements Grade 12GIS/CAD/Draughting Certificate would be advantageous2 years' relevant experience within a GIS/CAD environment.Knowledge and research of cadastral information and title deeds.Basic knowledge of land use and planning processes.Basic report writing and verbal communication skills.Computer literacy and advanced CAD/GIS skills.Valid Code B Driver's Licence.Must be prepared to enter high risk areas and should be capable of conducting field work and have the ability to use drawing programs.Key Performance Areas Supervises and undertakes reasonably complex drafting activities in relation to applications for Council's Immovable Property.Communicating results of research and investigations to both internal and external clients.Attending to noting and safekeeping of records, both electronic and hard copy, with regard to the services and ongoing work of the Department.Mentoring and providing guidance to Technical Assistants on drafting related activities.Providing general transport assistance for the region including conveyancing, leasing and admin functions.Implementing Section or Departmental communication strategy.How to Apply
