Senior Surveyor – Mining

Overview Description:Hire Resolve's client is currently looking for a Senior Surveyor to join their mining team based in the Western Cape.
As a Senior Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to provide accurate measurements and data for the mine.Responsibilities: Operate survey equipment for accurate measurementsMap work area within mining parameters and plan according to mining planConduct surveys as planned, report results promptly, and recommend corrective actionsCommunicate with client representatives to establish professional relationshipsEnsure survey activities comply with Safety and Quality standardsImplement quality control systems for layout deliverySchedule resources for survey work output plansReview mine surveying practices and mining operations continuouslyCompile and present production survey reports to managementPerform daily measurements and reporting as per contract and managerial instructionsNegotiate with client to agree on final monthly survey report for certificate purposes Requirements: Grade 12National Diploma in Mine Surveying or related field.Legal Knowledge – Mine Surveyors GCCManagement Development Programme (MDP)7 years' experience in surveying, in the mining industry.Registered as a member with IMMSSA and/or SAGC Benefits: Salary: NegotiablePaid Time Off (PTO) (If Applicable) Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.
