In this role, you will be pivotal in our engineering projects by creating detailed technical drawings and plans across various disciplines, including mechanical components, conveyor structures, civil foundations, chutes, and plant layouts. You will be a crucial team member, contributing to the successful execution of our projects.Key Responsibilities:Design and create detailed technical drawings and plans for various engineering projects.Work across multiple disciplines, including mechanical, civil, and structural engineering.Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate and efficient design solutions.Utilize advanced knowledge in some of the following Autodesk software: AutoCAD, Inventor, Advance Steel or Revit for drafting and design work.Generate 2D and 3D drawings as required for project specifications.Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design calculations and reports.Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail in all drafting work.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Contribute to project timelines and deliverables.Provide support and expertise to the engineering team as needed.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and software advancements.Qualifications:Relevant draughting certificate or diploma.Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the mining/petroleum sector.Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Inventor software.Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.How to Apply:If you are a skilled Senior Structural/Mechanical Draughtsman with a passion for engineering and a desire to contribute to exciting projects in the mining and petroleum sectors, we would love to hear from you.
