Senior Standards Officer

Position: Senior Standards Officer - MiningLocation: North WestResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement and maintain standards, policies, procedures and guidelines for the mining department in compliance with industry regulations and best practices.Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to the established standards and identify areas for improvement.Provide guidance and support to team members in understanding and implementing the standards effectively.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, safety and environmental sustainability.Ensure that all mining activities are carried out in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.RequirementsGrade 12 / Standard 10.Minimum of 5 years mining experience as an appointed Standards Coordinator or Chief Safety Officer or Mine Overseer.Trade Certificate or Blasting Certificate or Mine Overseer Certificate will be an advantage.MS Office suite – essential.BenefitsSalary: R900k - R1m.Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
