Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for maintaining and administering multiple organisation's databases.Database maintenance including building of indexes, scheduled jobs, clearing locks, space management and backups.Maintain backups and restore databases.
Maintain database access.Database restore, deployment and structural changes.Implement data change requests.Performance tuning.Assist with the writing of TSQL code.Assist with database errors.Define and document database standards and processes.Duties & ResponsibilitiesChange LeaderStrategiser5 to 8 years in this disciplineSelf-managed and driven individual.Solution-oriented.Good Communication Skills.Fast worker delivering accurate results.Ability to manage conflict.Ability to lead a small team of developers.Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).Knowledge of SQL Mirroring, replication and log shipping, management of files and file groups, table archiving and partitioning, SQL DR technologies, SQL backup and restore.Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA).B.Tech, B.Com or B.Sc.
