Senior Sql Database Administrator

Job Description: A cutting-edge technology company currently undertaking a digital transformation are looking for talented Senior Database Administrator (MS SQL) who will be responsible for the Microsoft SQL Server environments and need to ensure that it remains optimally configured, responsive and highly available.
Simply put, the primary responsibility, is to ensure that data is available, protected from loss and corruption, and easily accessible as needed.

Qualification: Minimum 8-10 years SQL database administration experienceRelevant SQL certification / degree / diplomaMicrosoft SQL Server 2008 / 2012 / 2014 / 2016/ 2017 / 2019/ 2022 experience with database administration, including installation and troubleshooting issuesInstall and configure Reporting services, Power BI, SSIS and CubesT-SQL Scripting experiencePerformance tuning on SQLDatabase SecurityHave in depth SQL internal knowledgeBackup and recovery experienceWindows Server and Windows firewall knowledge to support SQL server environmentAlways on experienceFailover clustering experienceReplication experienceSkills & Experience: Administer Microsoft SQL Server database environmentsEnsure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security compliance.T-SQL Scripting and development on both new and existing functionsTroubleshoot and resolve server, database and data issuesMaintain security of server and databaseMaintenance and monitoring of SQL environmentProvide SQL support to users and developersMonitoring and completion of all DBA related ServiceDesk callsBackup setup and monitoring
