We are recruiting for a Senior Specialist Systems Analyst.Skills RequiredExperienced in running Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions for requirement gathering, a methodology that involves the client and/or end user in the design and development of a software application through a succession of collaborative workshops called JAD sessions.Ability to conduct user requirements gathering sessions with different line function managers and translate the requirements into functional specifications.Familiarity with functional design documents and how they translate to system functionality.Qualification and experience in application development frameworks and methodologies.Good documentation skills and ability to complete the following documentation: functional design, detailed design, database design, technical architecture design, test scripts, testing procedures, and user training manuals.Experience in drawing business processes using tools such as Microsoft Visio.Ability to engage in formal and informal knowledge transfer.Ability to lead a team and manage project delivery.Application development/programming experience on a Microsoft platform.Ability to communicate clearly – verbally and in written form.Deep skills and experience in designing and implementing IT solutions.Business systems analysis and/or design.Application of system development methodologies.User requirement gathering sessions and development of the appropriate design documents (e.g., functional, detailed, and/or database design).Experience in business analysis, business process management, and/or business process engineering.Proven experience of facilitation.SDLC and system development methodologies such as waterfall, Rational Unified Process (RUP), agile, scrum, and understanding of DevOps CI/CD processes and tools.Business Analytic Skills, business analysis methodology, assist with project requirements planning, process, and Business Requirements specification documentation capability maps development skills.Strong business process modeling (BPMN) and management skills.Skills to enable technology of core capabilities and value streams.Skills to analyze operating and business models.Strong interpersonal skills, communication, and documentation skills.QualificationsBusiness Analysis CertificationTOGAF certificationBachelor's degree/Diploma or Advanced qualifications in Information Technology/Computer ScienceJAD Session Facilitation qualificationDesign tools (e.g., Visio)Advantageous SkillsWeb based applications design and developmentFor more information please contact:Tebogo Rankhumise
