Our client in the telecommunications industry is seeking a Senior Specialist for a 6-month, immediate start contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for the company's technology spectrum strategy and supporting implementation of these strategies through short term and long term plans.
They will drive technology support for spectrum execution initiatives such as Individual Technology Authorisation (ITA)/Auctions and Partnerships agreements for large-scale network introduction.
Spectrum modelling (long term forecasting of each market's spectrum requirements according to different scenarios).Group Spectrum strategy (Using forecast requirements, define and update as required company's spectrum strategy specifying opportunities for optimization of existing assets through re-farming and other techniques, and defining roadmap of new spectrum acquisition opportunities and support execution thereof).Responsible for representing technology in regulatory investigations as required providing technical consultation services relating to spectrum (e.g.
evaluation of impacts from regulatory consultations and development of counter proposals, support on other generic technology regulatory issues).Support markets on network introduction of viable new technologies, for example 5G.Support markets on Advanced network sharing technologies, including representing technology in regulatory and legal investigations as required providing technical consultation services relating to network sharing (e.g.
writing technical briefs on providing clarity to legal council, aiding the formulation of a legal council opinion.
Supporting the agreement process, and lowering risks, reviewing contracts, providing technical inputs into contracts etc.
