Senior Specialist: Customer Accounting

Role purpose/Business Unit To manage, maintain and report on all of MAST Services's Customer Accounting responsibilities including Anchor and 3rd party tenants from rating per applicable contracts to invoice generation, as well as IFRS compliant debtor and revenue accounting. Your responsibilities will include: To ensure that MAST's customer bills are accurate and delivered timeously. The reconciliation of MAST's Billing system to the planned accounting. To manage MAST customer accounting reconciliations end to end including but not limited to SOFP and SOCI. To establish a mutually beneficial relationship between various business role-players/process owners including IT and Commercial. To manage the alignment of information technology solutions with business process, technology, and people aspects of the business. To manage contracts and service level agreements with the business and suppliers. This includes the ability to manage a mix of off-shore and onshore suppliers. To closely ensure that all business process reengineering initiatives are considered and conducted and the resulting impact on systems are clearly defined across impacted environments. To manage assurance of all audit and SOX requirements, as well as maintain all internally defined internal controls and implementation of recommendations. The ideal candidate for this role will have: Must have technical / professional qualifications: 3-year Degree in Finance/Accounting (Essential). Core competencies, knowledge and experience: A minimum of 5 years relevant experience essential with exposure to the following: IFRS compliant customer accounting including SOFP and SOCI.
