MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and proceduresBe prepared and ready for your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.Provide consistent professional massage and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.Effectively inform and educate our guests about their specific wellness concerns.Ensure individualised guest service through acknowledging and responding to their needs and expectations.Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the Spa and guests alike.Properly care for equipment and use the appropriate amount of product to assist with cost controls.Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.Perform prep work, properly clean and restock rooms as required.Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.Actively promote the spa, treatments, services and retail. offeringREQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONSBeauty Therapist qualification (Diploma or Degree in Somatology, Aesthetics or Physiotherapy)At least 2+ years' experience in a Spa environment, preferably in a 5* Lodge environmentKnowledge of the Property Management System Opera, at Operator LevelComputer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel and OutlookExcellent product knowledgeDemonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAbility to multitask and have good time-management skillsProven job reliability, diligence, dedication and attention to detailIt is important that the candidate is able to work as part of a team and is a good cultural fit for The Royal Portfolio.South African citizenship is advantageous.
