Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join their kitchen brigade. The Senior Sous Chef will play a key role in leading the kitchen team, ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen, and maintaining the high standards of food quality and service.
DescriptionAssist the Head Chef in overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.Lead and motivate the kitchen team, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to restaurant standards and recipes, consistently delivering high-quality cuisine.Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed and minimizing waste.Assist in menu development and contribute creative ideas for new dishes and specials.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to hygiene and safety standards at all times.Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and cost control.Proven experience working as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume, upscale restaurant environment.Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of diverse cuisines and cooking techniques.Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Creative flair and a passion for food and gastronomy.#J-18808-Ljbffr
