Senior Sous Chef - Constantia Winelands

ProStaffSelect are in search of an ORGANISED, TEAM-FOCUSED, and highly CREATIVE Senior Sous Chef to assist with overseeing daily production and kitchen operations, and to manage a skilled team of chefs, ensuring exceptional culinary standards and to showcase the culinary signature of an award-winning brand.
REQUIREMENTS

Diploma in Culinary Arts / Professional Cheffing (Hot, Cold AND Pastry) from recognized Chef Schools
Minimum 5 years' experience as SOUS and previously Chef Tournant in charge of 2 or more sections
Five star / Fine Dining / Eat Out brigade experience essential
Own transport with a valid driver's license

Advanced PLATING and food preparation skills in Hot, Cold AND Pastry

Good communication skills and likeable personality traits
Disciplined individual with good personal hygiene and sober habits
Willing to prepare work for photo shoots / participate in culinary demonstrations
Primary focus to maintain levels of consistency and exceptionally high food standards
Calm and controlled character able to cope with stress of a high-profile kitchen / can think on your feet
