Job & Company Description:Looking for competent Senior Sourcing Specialist to select and purchase lines of products on behalf of our company. The ideal candidate must be responsible individual with great attention to detail. The goal is to ensure that the business will always have adequate stock that meets its requirements.Key responsibilities include:Identify customer preferences and forecast consumer trendsEvaluate supplier options according to prices, quality etc. and determine the best choicesDiscover and purchase new products and check the quality and popularity of those already on our shelvesNegotiate terms of agreements to achieve the best deal for our companyEnsure the timely delivery of products and compliance with the contracts of purchaseMonitor stock levels and make plans for buying within budgetCreate reports on sales, budgets and customer satisfaction and adjust your strategies accordinglyForge and maintain trust relationships with suppliers to promote fair dealingEducation and skills:Degree or Diploma in CommerceProven experience as a sourcing specialist or relevant role1-3 years Managerial experience within Merchandising2-3 years Buying/ Sourcing experienceSolid experience working with numbers and understanding the details of the financial/commercial interactions between a retailer and supplierFamiliarity with market research, data analysis and forecasting techniquesApply now!For more contracting jobs, please visit www.networkcontracting.co.za If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
