We are seeking a talented engineering to join our client in driving the successful design, costing, and bidding of commercial and industrial solar PV and battery storage systems, ensuring optimal solutions that meet client needs and maximize system performance.
Key Responsibilities: Solar PV System Design: Design grid-connected solar PV systems for buildings, considering factors like shading, yield analysis, and system optimization.
Develop detailed system layouts and single-line diagrams.
Conduct thorough tariff analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Design: Perform battery sizing, analysis, and optimization using advanced simulation tools like PVSyst, Prospect, and Homer.
Evaluate BESS integration with solar PV systems to enhance system performance and reliability.
Technical Bid Preparation: Develop comprehensive technical specifications, including design approach, system description, and cost breakdowns.
Conduct financial feasibility assessments to evaluate project viability.
Client Engagement and Relationship Management: Assess client needs and translate them into tailored solar PV and BESS solutions.
Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
Actively participate in negotiations and resolve conflicts effectively.
Regulatory Compliance and Permitting: Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
Prepare and submit necessary applications for regulatory approvals and generation licenses.
Technical Support and O&M: Provide technical support for system installation, commissioning, and operation.
Contribute to ongoing O&M activities as needed.
Research and Innovation: Stay updated on the latest solar PV and BESS technologies and industry trends.
Conduct research to identify potential improvements and cost-saving measures.
Required Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in solar PV and BESS system design, engineering, and project management.
Strong understanding of solar PV and BESS system components, technologies, and operation.
Proficiency in PVSyst, Prospect, Homer, and other relevant simulation tools.
