Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced LabVIEW Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test systems and applications. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience with NI hardware and software tools, a strong background in DAQ systems, signal processing, and instrumentation, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Duties and responsibilities
Design and develop LabVIEW applications for automated test systems and data acquisition.
Implement and optimize LabVIEW code for performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Conduct system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure functionality and performance meet specifications.
Maintain and update existing LabVIEW applications and systems.
Provide technical support and training to team members and customers.
Document system designs, test procedures, and results.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) certification is required.
B.Tech in Electronics/Electrical is preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in developing LabVIEW applications.
Strong understanding of NI hardware and software tools, e.g., cRIO, sbRIO, cDAQ, PXI, I/O modules, etc.
Skilled in developing UI and integrating hardware components.
Experience with DAQ (data acquisition systems), Signal Processing, and instrumentation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good to have:
Experience with TestStand, FPGA, or other NI software tools.
Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Python, MATLAB).
Familiarity with industry standards and protocols (e.g., Modbus, GPIB, RS-232, Ethernet).
Experience in Manufacturing and assembly equipment, Consumer electronics, Semiconductor tools, etc.
Any other responsibility as deemed fit from time to time by the Management.
