As an SDE III on Aurora Availability team, you will design and implement software components and enhance existing components to help us continuously improve and evolve to meet growing availability demands from our customers.
We are looking for experienced Software Development Engineers with a proven track record of designing and implementing highly scalable, fault-tolerant and resilient systems & tooling. You have strong technical skills, are motivated and results-oriented. You are passionate about engineering robust systems, and know how to make the right trade-offs to continue growing quickly to meet our customers' demands. You have a continuous learning and growth mindset and relish investigating and solving hard technical challenges. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and are adept at writing technical documents.

The base salary for this position ranges from $150,700/year up to $251,700/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
